My problem with both is essentially the same: these are people who've already made up their minds, and are just groping for a rationalization, some seemingly reasonable excuse for why they intend to vote how they do

And unfortunately, it seems those kind of people voted in droves. And wtf was up with the New Black Panthers??
I wish McCain hadn't done the pandering to conservatives, since I remember him running against Bush in the 2000 election, but meh, the GOP would have been on his ass if he didn't. He wasn't my first choice, but I liked him better than Obama. I certainly agree with his policies more.
God, I am so pissed off right now. I just hope Obama changes his stance on a lot of things, or that congress doesn't just follow blindly along with all of his ideas.
