A friend of mine, who I met through Yaoicon, has started taking cosplay commissions! At Yaoicon she has worn the most fabulous cosplay outfits. I was surprised to find out she made them! With her permission, I'm pimping her stuff...

I know! I wish I had that sort of talent! I can barely sew a straight line. LOL!

I don't coplay either - not that I wouldn't like to try but I'm too much of chicken. I can just see people staring and thinking - "What is that old, fat woman wearing?! Isn't she too old to play dress up?!" LOL!

If you know anyone who does cosplay, please pass the info along. I friended the community so I could see any new costumes she puts up.

Yup, I definitely want to check Kuroshitsuji out!

That is amazing cosplay. Some can look really cheap or thrown together, but those are immaculate. Good show!

I know! When I saw her at Yaoicon this year (wearing the blue cosplay) I was amazed on how good it looked. I had no idea she's the one who's been making the outfits!

I had no clue either! I never thought to ask about any of her costumes...which have all be fabulous.

I know! I'm still shocked to know she made it! All her cosplay outfits have been wonderful. Never thought to ask who made them.

lol It's just so hard to fathom how people can make such wonderful dresses!! I mean, i could NEVER do that with a sewing machine!

I could never really sew and with these eyes and biofocals it is hard to thread a needle anymore. I have to take my glasses off and hold the needle and thread practically up to my nose :)
