:( I wish I could give you some shortcut but the only way to learn kanji is just to practice writing it over and over and over again. And you probably already know this. lol.
Haha, yeah, actually, I like kanji. I think they're really interesting to study - they're pretty and fun to draw, and it's fascinating to see the logic behind the radicals and their history. But I have to say that they're a PAIN to look up. Doing my homework takes me twice as long because I have to look up the kanji *sigh*.
I was in such a bad mood an hour ago XD Then I went to the gym and cleared my head.
Anki's a computer flashcard program for testing yourself and remembering kanji etc. Here
Are you looking up kanji in a dictionary? I admit I am far, far too lazy for that - I use NJ Star, it's just much easier than flipping through the dictionary, especially if I'm not certain which radical it's going to be under.
Oooh, that sounds interesting. I'm checking out the flashcards, and this NJstar business! I usually use the look up kanji by radical function on jisho.org (I adore that site), though as you said, it's still annoying when you don't know what radical it falls under -_-;; Thanks for the links!
