Kibum lay back on the soft bed after a hard day’s work of filming dramas and CFs, and stared blankly at the white ceiling above him of room he was in. He could have stumbled to his own empty officetel and he could have enjoyed the peace and silence of his home away from hid busy life but for once, he yearned for the chaos that was Super Junior. Even though he just got off a very busy schedule, he was excited to be in the middle of the busy home life of his band mates.
He yawned and snuggled further into the bed, occasionally looking at the clock with the red numbers glowing 00:30. Looking away, Kibum waited for the apartment to become loud, as his hyungs would come home, kick of their shoes and yell out in happiness for some sleep.
Just as he was about to nod off to the spell of sleep, a loud bang startled him awake, making him jolt up abruptly and look around erratically. He blinked in confusion as he tried to understand what some of the members were yelling about.
“How could you not know?”
“I still don’t understand how you could have the time to watch it!”
“It was so popular!! And it was about a lost fish! Who wouldn’t want to watch it?”
“Donghae, your schedule is packed to the max, how could you possibly have time to watch that movie, let alone know about it?”
There was silence as Kibum strained his ears to further listen to the conversation between Leeteuk and Donghae. Just as he considered leaving the bed to go and investigate, the bedroom door of Donghae’s room was slammed open to reveal a pouting Donghae. As soon as Donghae saw the younger boy in his room, his face brightened like the sky at sunrise.
“Kibummie! Come here!” commanded Donghae, pulling Kibum from his bed and dragging him to the living room where some tired members lay. “Have you seen Finding Nemo?”
Kibum blinked and noticed that Heechul rolled his eyes before he lay back on the sofa. “Finding what?”
All of the sudden, Kibum felt like he took candy from a baby as Donghae’s face twisted from a sunny smile to a pout to a frown. “Nemo does have a name, you know.”
Not particularly sure what he should say next, the boy turned to the leader in hopes of answers before angering Donghae further. The leader sighed and shot him an apologetic look. “I mentioned on Star Golden Bell that I didn’t know what Finding Nemo was and I’m assuming that Donghae found out.”
“Hyung,” started Kibum, turning to Donghae, “What is Finding Nemo about? Is it a movie or something?”
Donghae must have taken his curiosity the wrong way because the next thing Kibum knew, Heechul and Shindong threw him looks of pity while Leeteuk sighed and sank away to the other apartment, leaving Kibum alone with Donghae as the latter boy forced him on the sofa while he put a DVD on. Even though Donghae was quite childish and playful, Kibum kept forgetting how much strength Donghae yielded when provoked.
The boy in question plopped down happily and took a bite of popcorn that he had gotten from Hankyung earlier to playing the DVD. Donghae offered Kibum some popcorn with a smile. “Bummie-ah, this movie is so cute! It’s about a fish who is separated from his father!!”
Kibum stared blankly at the screen as a small clown fish swam about. He wondered how he had ended up alone with Donghae but didn’t seem to mind as his shoulders started to relax while Donghae snuggled up against him. He looked down when he felt is shoulder become wet and noticed Donghae crying, even though the movie just started.
Donghae looked up at Kibum, teary eyed with a frown upon his face. “I hate this part. Coral dies and now they’re all alone.”
“Come on,” said Kibum, covering Donghae’s eyes as frantic screams echoed from the speakers. “It’ll be over in a moment. Besides, the movie will get cuter, like you said.” He wasn’t sure how a movie could be cute but he shrugged it off as a Donghae expression.
“Oh wait!!” Donghae jumped up and bolted out of the room, leaving Kibum wondering what the older boy was doing as the opening title flickered over the screen. When Donghae didn’t return, Kibum sighed tiredly, remaining on the sofa and debating whether or not to follow the boy.
He watched as the two colourful fish swam about and met up with other fish species and vaguely wondered as well, how Donghae had the time to watch this movie. Kibum himself was feeling tired and the movie had just begun. Just as he felt his head lighten and sleep take over him, Kibum felt the sofa indent and a shadow loom over his face.
“Ah!! What is that?!” Kibum, who is normally composed, jumped back as Donghae grinned and waved the orange and blue plushies in his face.
“It’s not a that! It’s Nemo, Dory and Marlin!! Aren’t they cute?” Kibum arched his brow as he watched his hyung squish and cuddle the giant plushies connected together.
“Where,” started Kibum, settling back next to Donghae, “on Earth do you get this stuff? And I’m still amazed at the time you have for this as well.”
“Shh, the good part is coming on!” Donghae shoved some popcorn in Kibum’s mouth and placed his chin upon the soft material of the toys.
In reality, Kibum wasn’t paying any attention to the movie but on the boy next to him. Since the room was bathed in darkness, Donghae didn’t notice the undivided attention that was sent his way by the younger boy and continued to watch the animated film. As he watched the movie, he continuously shoved popcorn into his mouth, not caring for the crumbs and the salt that were sprinkled over his face and clothes.
Kibum watched as Donghae licked his salty lips and gulped, the lips glistened from the light being emitted from the television. He licked over his own lips, suddenly craving for salt but only the salt that was on Donghae’s lips. Slowly, he inched his arm towards Donghae to do something even Kibum himself wasn’t sure he was going to do. He gulped once more as Donghae leaned back into the sofa, exposing his neckline from his loose shirt.
Inches away from Donghae’s shirt, the boy in question turned around and looked at Kibum curiously. Suddenly, Donghae’s child-like expression turned into a frown.
“Yah, Kibummie. Why aren’t you watching the movie? We barely spend any time together so I hoped for this to be special!”
Kibum smiled gently and pulled Donghae closer into him, Donghae’s head against his chest, and tried to pay closer attention to the film even though he didn’t know why there was some weird fish ritual going on.
Donghae tried to pay attention to the film as well but failed to do so as he listened to Kibum’s heartbeat. He sighed in relaxation, happily savouring their rare moment together and snuggled further into his chest. He knew that Kibum wasn’t paying attention earlier and had licked his lips on purpose in hopes that maybe that night really would become special.
Now that it was his turn to be distracted, he closed his eyes and looped his arms around Kibum, startling the younger boy.
“H-Hyung?” Kibum stuttered as Donghae moved his head higher until it rested in the crook of his neck.
“Keep on watching. It’s a good movie.”
Kibum swallowed once again, knowing from the start that he wouldn’t be able to concentrate anyways. He tried to concentrate; he really did, even after Donghae had shifted his position to his neck. Even then he tried to concentrate but Kibum couldn’t not notice the soft wisps of breath upon his neck, the smooth skin brushing against his and the boy who leant against him that made his heart beat louder than normal.
Suddenly, Kibum yelped out in surprise when he felt something wet run along his collarbone, up to his ear. “H-Hyung?”
“Shh,” whispered Donghae as he nibbled on Kibum’s ear. “Just keep on watching.”
Donghae smiled cheekily as he felt Kibum tense up and try to concentrate on the film. In truth, he felt a bit guilty for trying to seduce Kibum in front of his favourite children’s movie but brushed his guilt aside as he dipped his hand under Kibum’s shirt and rubbed the smooth skin beneath. A chuckle erupted from his throat as he heard Kibum let out a guttural moan.
“You have,” started Donghae, kissing along Kibum’s sharp jaw line, “No idea how much I’ve missed you.”
With his face still pointed at the TV screen, Kibum’s eyes darted to the left of him where Donghae had taken up his position. “What?”
Kibum’s view of the TV screen was now blocked by Donghae as he straddled the younger boy’s legs, holding Kibum’s head with his palms and leaning his head so that his breath caressed Kibum’s face. “I said that I missed you.”
The youngest of the couple widened his eyes as Donghae lowered his mouth onto his own, their mouths moulding perfectly against each other. His eyes drifted close as he snaked his arms around Donghae’s waist, pulling in the fish-loving boy closer to his chest, savouring the touches and the feeling of the moment. Donghae moaned out loud as he ground his hips, forcing Kibum to feel his wanting member.
Grinning, Kibum pulled their shirts off of each other before tossing it aside onto the empty spots of the sofa, kissing the newly exposed skin. Donghae giggled at the feeling of Kibum’s tongue running along and swirling around his erect nipples, revelling in the passion that the younger boy created.
“Kibum-ah,” moaned Donghae as he tipped his head back to allow Kibum easy access to his neck and collarbone. “I’ve wanted this for so long.”
“Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Kibum bit down on Donghae’s shoulder, drawing a surprised but not disappointed gasp from the older boy.
“I was scared about how you would react.” Donghae leaned forward again and smiled, eyes thinning from happiness. “But I’m happy now.”
“So am I,” whispered Kibum as he dipped his hands into Donghae’s pants to massage the throbbing member.
“Nemo!! Nemo, where are you?!”
Kibum yanked his hand from Donghae’s pants and broke all contact with the boy, his eyes darting around the room as he saw the fish plushies and the movie still playing on the screen. He then grabbed Donghae’s waist again and lifted him, making his way to Donghae’s room, not caring if it was occupied or not.
“I am not going to screw you when there are cartoons playing.” Donghae laughed mercilessly as Kibum threw him down onto the bed.
Donghae licked his lips in anticipation and started run his hands up and down his chest, luring Kibum to come closer and to undress them both faster. Unfortunately, Donghae didn’t seem to notice Shindong reading in the corner on his bed until said innocent bystander yelped out in surprise and bolted from the room, locking it on the way out.
“Whoops.” Kibum grinned at Donghae’s innocent face and claimed his mouth once more, their bodies the only moving thing in the room.

The next morning, the unsuspecting leader of Dong Bang Shin Ki entered the apartment with the spare key, only to see Shindong asleep on the sofa, hugging the blue and yellow fish plushies as Finding Nemo played on repeat. Not sure why Shindong was asleep on the sofa instead of his bed, Yunho ventured further into the apartment to see what was wrong with his room, only to be intercepted by Hankyung.
“I wouldn’t go in there if I was you.”
Yunho looked taken back to seeing Hankyung looking so serious so early in the morning. “Why? Did something bad happen?”
“No, no,” said Heechul from the bedroom across from Donghae’s. “Donghae and Kibum hooked up last night.”
Yunho’s mouth turned into an ‘O’ shape, understanding the situation perfectly. Suddenly, Hankyung grabbed Yunho’s hand, dragging the boy into their room.
“Come on, stay for a bit. Heechul has been whining about how rarely you call, much less come to see us.”
Grinning, Yunho gently closed the door as Hankyung and Heechul matched his grins from the soft bed.
