I have seen this meme around and thought I would go ahead and see how many books I have actually read. I wasn't sure if I would have all that many considering I don't really like to read outside of GW fanfiction :) Anyway I surprised myself, since I actually have read 24 of the 100 books on the list. Funny how things work out... I do consider myself a reader and read all the books my teachers assigned while in high school and college, yet I only managed 15 from this list! Granted, my reading habits have heavily leaned toward the fantasy / sci-fi / paranormal arenas since about 6th grade - and the majority of the books listed by the BBC are classics - it's a little depressing to see that some of the "American" classics I read for school are not here (Red Badge of Courage, Last of the Mohicans, Farenheit 451).

Yeah I have read a few classics that aren't here, I don't know where they get there lists from sometimes. :)
