Have you ever fallen in love with a characters voice or recognised a particular seiyuu when you hear them in another anime?

The first seiyuu I ever liked was Paku Romi after listening to Tao Ren when I first watched Shaman King (which has incidentally been ruined by extremely bad dubbing...). I spotted her voice in Fullmetal Alchemist as Edward ( Read more... )

I gotta say I have note.. yet. The one I noticed (which has nothing to do with anime) was when I was watching A Touch of Frost (a crime series) and was listening to the actor playing Frost and I went "I am sure that is the voice of Dangermouse!". And it is. Most of the time you can't tell, but just occasionaly he sounds a lot like Dangermouse.

Well hey now I'm gonna have to revisit Dangermouse to see if you're telling the truth!! Haven't watched it since I was a wee nipper though!!

I bought it on DVD a few months ago. Oh how I wanted it! and we have just bought the first 10 seasons of Frost :)

I pretty much only notice dubbed voices: 1 - Athrun from Gundam Seed played Krypo Dog or something. 2 - Balmung from .hack//legend of the twilight played too many to count.

as for dubbed voice actor love: Kira Yamato's voice from Gundam Seed. I ♥ it. ^__^. (he also does Ed from Ed, Edd 'n Eddy but it's so different...)

Yea, i want to see the GSD SEs (?) but i didn't even finish Destiny yet so i can't T.T lol~ I'll get there eventually.

I completely fell in love with Ishida Akira...*cough* his voice, I mean...the first time I saw Evangelion (he was Kaworu's seiyuu) ~<3 I was really surprised when I realised that he was also the voice of Xellos in Slayers~!
From that moment on, I've pretty much stalked been very interested in his career, overall ^__^

With dub-voices, I often recognise familiar voices from video games. It seems quite a few voice actors work with both anime and video games :3

I haven't come across any yet that I recognise from video games, but I don't know a lot of games...
