Okay, I don't know whether this applies to anyone else; it could just be my own silliness, but have you ever bought an anime set or series and then wondered why?!

I think I enter stages of boredom when I'm browsing ebay and eventually I have to buy something, regardless of whether I actually want it or not ( Read more... )

I have a few like that. I recently bought Cromartie High, even though I knew nothing about it. And I have only watched the first few episodes, and I suspect I will be able to get into it, but it was just one of those random purchases!

GTO was a little like that.. but I love it!

I like it when you buy an anime you've never heard of before and it's really good! I was surprised when I bought Whistle! cos I thought it'd be crap, but it was a really good watch - it's one of my favourites now and it's a fairly obscure anime!!!

I was the same!! I thought oh it'll just be a load of hype - I didn't like the look of Ichigo as the main character at first, but Bleach is ace I can't believe I hesitated so long...

I rarely buy anything on a whim. I guess I might count the Princess Nine box set. I ordered it only because it was cheap, even though I'm not into sports anime. I regretted my purchase until it came. I actually did wind up liking it though (because it's much more of a romance anime than it is a sports anime.)

Yeah, sometimes it hard to tell what an anime's like just from the cover - I once assumed Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien was going to be a light-hearted romance/school anime, but I was completely mistaken! In his case I turned out not liking it, but I know what you mean.

I randomly bought DN angel. I think I was looking for something else and that caught my eye so I bought it. I was so worried I was going to hate it after purchasing it but I couldnt cancel the order. I ended up loving it and buying all the manga too lol!
