Ah good, so far thats 2 for the cracks, and one not sure lol - do they look 'realistic', as in terms of perspective and such ^^;

1) That is a fantastic idea! Why did i not think to do that lol. Expanding on that, maybe i should try to add dents and such too :)

2) Shadows, very much needed - particularly for that tree, lol. I think you're right, making the whole thing darker adds to the lost, abandoned feel - i'll do this at the end :)

3) I love that idea, however! This matte painting is to have left to right camera pan, and to make this seem as real as possible i need non-moving elements. You could argue about leaves moving in a gust of wind... um >.>; i have no back up, let just say the pan will only be 4-7 second long, lol

4) Garbage - genius, maybe i should have those bins knocked over :o

5) *nods* Purposely took the photo on an over cast day at lunchtime :) SHADOWS!

Dude, you rock, i wish more people would give a critique like you. I need to make you something for all the times you've helped me out :D

Cracks look good, perspective, color and "crackiness".
(it so too IS a word! :P )

How about some clumps of weeds, with the grass? It might help break it up a little. (dandelions, yay!)

...

3) How much does your cat move, when it's sleeping?
(I know where you are coming from. Keep the objects inanimate.) ^_^

4) Yay for racoons!

Is the pan going to be used in a larger project? Sound?

...

If you like... but I still owe you some...

Again, the differences, so far are great. Will you post the finished pan on your site?
(BTW: Where are you hiding your BGG stuff?)

:)

While following your steps, I found that instead of having “me” as a group it had the following: 166839 166839
