My Hero's Journey!

Name: Maryrose.
Age: Ninteen.
Previous Stamps: Belle and Jane!

1. What would be your ideal adventure?: One that requires exploring new lands! Unearthing life's most withheld secrets! Maybe even saving a beautiful girl (or guy, whichever works!). I tend to try to have adventures almost as often as possible in real life, and I usually do. I can easily discover adventure just by wandering (trespassing) into some abandoned structures, getting myself lost in the wilderness, or maybe just perusing through some books (ancient tomes) in libraries.
2. Do you enjoy travel, or are you a homebody?: I am very much obsessed with travel. I become easily unsettled and restless if I'm trapped in my home for too long- I try to escape into the outside as much as possible. Staying in one location for too long really gets bothersome for me quickly, I need to explore new territory to be happy. One of my goals in life is to see as much of the world as possible, simply for pure interest and the passion to understand the world and its people, and to see exotic lands and areas thriving with rich history and culture. I want to know and understand and experience as much from this life as possible.
3. What skills would you use to rescue a damsel in distress?: My sharp wit, intellect, and cunning will evade her(him) from harm's way! I'm not too skilled physically, so this had better do! I mean, I guess I could probably slap him around a bit if it really gets tough, but I'd probably just make a fool of myself. Maybe if I had a sword! I don't much like violence, but if it means her life, then I'm willing to go against my personal beliefs to save her. And believe me, I can get very passionate when it comes to my one true love's life!
4. Are you happiest in the royal court, in the greater city, in the country, or on the move?: Most likely on the move. Like I already described, I'm very restless and am in need of a lot of adventure. I do prefer to be in an urban environment over the country life (if I had to stay in one place, that is). I would absolutely hate being in a royal court- way too much pressure on being scrutinized constantly.
5. What are some trials you've successfully overcome in your life?: Uh. Wanna get back to me on this? I'm still trying to get over my trials. I have a lot of problems with putting too much pressure on myself, and I go through a lot of problems with anxiety. I procrastinate a lot, and I feel like I'm never going to accomplish what I wish to in life. I've had trouble with being too nice in a previous relationship (i.e. being used a lot), so I try to take better care of myself in that respect.
6. What mythical monster would you most like to defeat (slay or tame, it's your call)?: I really wish my knowledge of mythical monsters was more detailed just for this question! Think of the possibilities that I could be missing out on! I'm going to have to say I would tame a phoenix, as it is one of my favorite beasties that I know of. It's not so much threatening as it is full of wisdom, grace, and seems to represent brilliance and enlightenment, which I respect much more than power and might.
7. Are you a seeker of truth, or do you tend to accept the world as it is?: I am very much a seeker of truth. In fact, I thrive off of truth. I live for truth! This is why I'm stuffing my nose in books constantly (or films, or music, or art, or etc). I am not happy unless I am able to consume and digest more details involving the truth, in regards to everything. And no matter how much I absorb, I will never be satisfied- I will always have to seek more.
8. What is your favourite field of study?: Literature. For certain. But I also have numerous interests, and thus I'm also studying anthropology and archeology, film history, art history, and psychology.
9. Are you a team player or more of a loner?: I'm much more of a loner, but a few trustworthy companions always keeps the journey from becoming too lonely.
10. What animal would you compare yourself to?: A feline of some sort, possibly a panther or a leopard. Something that is sly, fierce, and agile. For a more superficial side of me, possibly a peacock. I can be rather flamboyant and prim by appearance.
11. Pictures (optional):
