Second Year Paper: Progress! of sorts. I stayed in the office late Friday (as in, until 1am) and got some actual honest-to-goodness work done. It was good. And my committee is giving me the rest of their comments and a deadline soon, so that will be good too.

About an hour ago tungol told me we were having "severe thunder storm warnings." half an hour ago the winds came up, the sky darkened over, and opened with rain and gnashing lightning. About five minutes ago it stopped.

It had been a hot day, so the asphalt steamed in the rain. The effect was both eerie and beautiful.
