Animanga LIMS Round Two: CH. CB VOTING
Voting has started for the Comeback Challenge of Round 2 at animanga_lims! We have 30 potentials competing for a spot in the contest. I'm quite please that DOGS was the series we chose for this week as you all have done some really nice things. Voting won't be easy!
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING AS VOTING IS VERY DIFFERENT.
- Voting for the Comeback challenge will end at around 8 PM central time on Sunday, July 1, 2007.
- You are voting for 3 (THREE) icons of HIGHER QUALITY, aka your three favorite icons. Please judge based on overall technique and aesthetic quality, NOT personal preferences (such as character, favorite color, etc). We reserve the right to void any vote we feel is petty or seemingly biased. YOU MUST GIVE A REASON FOR YOUR VOTES.
- VOTES ARE WEIGHTED FOR THIS CHALLENGE. Make sure that you write down your favorites in order from 1st favorite to 3rd favorite (descending order). The weights will help balance points as we do not have vote-offs to negate points this time.
- Note: A total of 5 iconists will be allowed to return to the regular competition. 3 of them will be chosen according to highest number of points. The remaining 2 will be chosen by each of the moderators according to various criteria such as (but not limited to) the icon's aesthetic quality, technique, design, and amount of effort.
- Do NOT vote for your own icon and don't feel obligated to vote for your friends' icons, etc. Keep things as objective as possible!
- ANYONE CAN VOTE. You do not have to be a contestant or anything, so VOTE AWAY!

Remember, we encourage you to be as detailed as possible in your vote (our example vote is fairly lazy). Although the main reason behind this is to prevent as much bias as possible, it's also so that the iconmakers can get some good critiques and can learn what they're doing right! Despite the fact that all votes will be positive (constructive criticism is also nice, not just gushing about how awesome the icon is), ALL VOTES WILL BE SCREENED.
Just one more reminder that VOTES ARE WEIGHTED so write your votes in order from your first favorite to your third favorite!
