How do you guys feel about animated icons? Should they be allowed, or not?

That's why I thought it's be appropriate to ask you guys. I personally don't mind animated icons, I just don't know how to make them. Ah darling don't say that ;____;

Personally I can see how it's a disadvantage for all the iconers who can't work with animation. Idk yet again that's why I'm asking you guys for an opinion, I sincerely want you guys to decide because you're all the ones participating, not me.

That's an interesting suggestion. Also I'm pretty sure there's only like a handful of people here who can make animated icons tbh, I, like I said, can't.

Some one already suggested that it should just be an even playing field for everyone, so in the end it just might wind up like that.

This was my original intention but someone asked me if they could do an animated icon so i just figured I'd ask everyone how they felt about animated icons.

That's actually an interesting point, animated icons do show a lot more effort & time. They generally aren't but at the same time because there is a couple of people out there who cant make them (too difficult for them in general or they don't have the program needed) so it'd be a huge disadvantage for them. Man idk what to do.

I wouldn't do that, so don't worry about that. I can't make them (lol I actually kind of can I just choose not too) to save my life so I would never ever be want to be caught in a situation like that.

WHY ARE YOU GUYS MAKING THIS SO HARD? Oh I definitely agree on that front, it's an amazing skill to have as an icon maker. At the same time it just sucks for those who can't make them, it'd just be a disadvantage.
