New shelves for my African and Australasian displays

Almost a year has passed till I finally got new shelves to display my African animals from the dismantled savannah display.
I’ve hung two bookshelves on the wall in my bedroom and populated them with African and Australasian wildlife. The shelves are too confined for my collection, but that’s much better than storing figures in a cabinet. Anyway, I enjoy watching my new settings and would like to share some pics with you.

General view of the new shelves:

The lower shelf is for Africa which is divided into three zones (from left to right): savannah, river and rainforest. It’s already overpopulated and I’ll surely need one more shelf soon…

2/3 of the shelf is allocated for savannah. An overcrowded one…

The right corner is for the rainforest:

My favorite part of the display - leopard at the riverbank:

And here’s the upper shelf - Australasia:

This picture shows the upper shelf from below - how I see it when lying on my bed:

The left part of the shelf represents India. Can you spot a leopard here?

And here’s Indonesia:

By the way, after I withdrew Asian animals from my older cabinet display, I could dedicate a whole shelf to Europe there. Here’s how the shelf looked before - showing a heavily overpopulated Eurasia (the lower shelf):

And this is how it looks now - Europe only:

Now I’m thinking about ordering a custom made shelf - more spacious and high enough for Schleich acacia (which I hope to get for my birthday this Spring). I’ll move my Africa there and redesign the lower shelf into North American display.
