Also, there's that whole LoM thing of Annie in the red dress from the first series, which also works with the Death Theory, as in a person's life flashing before their eyes. That was obvisouly a huge moment in young Sam Tyler's life and the very fact that when he had his accident in our time, and that flashed before his life, his desire to work out the puzzle could be what brought him to 1973 in the first place.
What I'll miss a great deal about the show is the potential for speculation is half the fun. If it turns out they're all playing Better Than Life on a spaceship I will be most serisouly displeased :)

And as for the BTL theory, I'd probably be okay with it because a Red Dwarf/A2A crossover would be epic.
