I saw that you mod springkink, so can you please answer a few questions?

I found a link to springkink, and I read some good fanfictions there, so I thought of joining. But the Community infopage is quite vague, I'm confused.

It seems like springkink is a Community where people post ficts following certain prompts. But is it mandatory to post ficts, or can I join even if I don't post anything? Do you have to post ficts in order to posts prompts for other authors, or can you post prompts even if you don't post any fict? Do you always have to follow the schedule? Who decides the schedule? Do you post a new schedule every few months or so?

YES. Prompt are submitted at the beginning of each round. There are four rounds: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

You don't need to do anything except join.

You do not have to participate in order to submit prompts.

Hi,
sorry to bother you again, but I have another question.

Each prompt should include: fandom, character/pairing/threesome or moresome , a kink/cliche or fannish trope, a phrase/word/idea/lyric and a number (pick from 1 to 30).

I don't understand what the number is for. Do I just have to pick a random number from 1 to 30 (why?), or does it actually have some meaning (like, say, the number of ficts/arts I hope to get)?

I wasn't sure the best way to contact you about springkink, so I hope you don't mind me commenting here.

I just have a question.

I'm currently participating, but had kind of a big disaster during the month and I'm behind on posting stories for the prompts I claimed.

Is it possible for me to complete posting within a couple of days after the comm officially closes? I don't think I'll be done tomorrow unless I drabble the rest and that hardly seems fair.

Hope you don't mind me taking liberties but I've started sorting out the prompt lists for this round :X. I just need to delete out prompts for fics that got written, and one or two people have forgotten to date their prompts; I'll pester them later when finishing up. Just going to go off and finish adding pages three and four of the new prompts :).
