Summary: Jaejoong had the perfect life, and one day everything was destroyed.

“Hey! What was that for Yunho?!” Jaejoong complained out loud as he turned around and saw Yunho’s furious face.
“I told you to wait for me in the classroom. I wanted to give you a surprise!” Jae said with a smile upon his face.
The boy that Jaejoong was just hugging was hiding behind him. Then, out of nowhere, the boy jumped from behind the other’s back and launched himself towards Yunho. Yunho didn’t have time to react; from a moment of raw furiousness to an unguarded and dumbfounded self that in two seconds flat was, well, quick.
“Min? Is that you!?” Yunho asked. “Oh My God! What are you doing here?!”
Yunho returned the embrace as hard as he could and looked at Jae who was smiling at him.
“Hyung, I’m going to be living with you from now on!” Changmin replied happily.
Yunho just stared at the boys.
“Aren’t you happy?” Changmin whiningly asked with a tone of disappointment in his voice.
“You knew about this and you didn’t tell me?” Yunho warily accused Jae.
“I told you, I wanted to give you a surprise but you obviously ruined everything…Wait, wait a second…” Jae frowned and looked at Yunho with a questioning look.
“Why were you so mad? You idiot, that hurt.” Jaejoong asked as he rubbed his arm.
Yunho panicked and hugged him, caressing his back,
“I’m sorry…I just got jeal - surprised seeing you hugging a stranger.” He tried to explain as he soothed the other.
“Oh so what? I’m not allowed to hug anybody anymore?” Jae asked at a serious tone with an irritated edge. “You know Yunho, sometimes you behave like you’re my boyfriend…” and with that, he left Yunho standing there and walked away, dragging a confused Changmin along with him.
After that, the three became inseparable. The next day everyone was gossiping about the new student who was just as hot as the most popular boy in school, who just so happens to be Jung Yunho. But after that incident, Yunho couldn’t stop thinking about what Jaejoong said. Why was he so jealous? He was sure his reaction was was not normal. Jae was his best friend and nothing more but somehow when he was with him he felt different.
He was walking toward his classroom when a beautiful girl approached him.
“Hi. Excuse me but I was wondering if you could do me a favor?” SeulGi shyly spoke to Yunho.
“What can I do for you?” Yunho asked back, standing before the girl with a warm smile.
Looking down, she started to speak,
“I have a letter that I wanted to give to yo - “
Right at that moment, Jajoong appeared out of nowhere and dragged Yunho away. SeulGi opened her eyes and found herself standing alone with no traces of Jung Yunho…

With Yunho and Jaejoong…
“Jae, please talk to me.” Yunho begged.
Jaejoong was just standing there, eyes darting everywhere but at a depressed Yunho.
“I didn’t do anything.” Yunho explained himself helplessly. “Why are you mad at me?”
“What were you doing with that girl?” Jaejoong coldly asks. “Flirting?”
“No, I wasn’t.” Yunho answered defensively. “Besides, so what if I did? It’s not like you’re my boyfriend - “
But before he could even finish his sentence, Jaejoong had already walked away.
“- Jae wait! Wait! What did I do wrong?!” Yunho yelled as he chased after Jaejoong.

A few hours later…
Jaejoong was in his room thinking why he felt so sad and mad at the same time when he saw Yunho with that girl. He knew they loved each other very much but only to the extent of friendship. But when he was with Yunho, he felt so happy and it was a feeling so difficult to explain, it started in his stomach and then it proceeded to creep up to his face.
“What the hell is wrong with me?” Jae asked out loud to no one in particular.
At that moment his phone rang. It was Yunho calling to see if he was still mad at him.
“Yunho?”
“Jae, are you still angry?” Yunho’s immediately asked after hearing Jaejoong’s voice.
“No, not anymore. I’m sorry, I have no idea what came over me.”
“It’s okay; I did the same thing when you were with Min so I understand why you behaved that way.”
“Really? So you felt the same way too?!....I…I mean…what did you feel?”
“Well…I really don’t know how to describe it but I just felt like you should only pay attention to me and anyone else.” There was a pause and then, “Is that what you felt?”
“Yunho…”
“Hmm?”
“…Isn’t that jealousy?”
“…I don’t know, maybe it is or maybe it isn’t. But Jae, I really don’t like it when you’re mad at me.”
“I know.” Jaejoong paused, thinking for the right words to say next. “I just feel…confused.”
“So do I,” Yunho replied. “But nothing is stronger than our friendship right?”
“I guess you’re right…”
Jaejoong could technically hear Yunho’s smile over the phone at the statement.
“Jae, tomorrow’s your birthday! I…I want to see you before the party…” Yunho shyly says. “Can we meet at the garden?”
“Sure! The party’s starting at nine so I guess we can meet an hour earlier…Okay?”
“Okay. You know, I feel better now,” Yunho replies with a chuckle and a sigh of relief. “I have the perfect gift for you; I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.”
Jaejoong chuckles along as he bids his farewell to the other, “Good night Yunho.”
“Good night Jae.”
That night, neither one of them slept. They spent the whole night thinking about what the hell were they feeling toward each other.

The night of the party…
Jae waited and waited by the tree in the rose garden.
“Where the hell is Yunho?” He muttered to himself.
Suddenly, he felt warm arms wrap themselves around his waist. Finally, Yunho was there. He turned around and hugged him.
“Where have you been? I have been waiting for you for almost fifteen minutes.”
Yunho just stared at his beautiful face; no one could be more beautiful than Kim Jaejoong.
“We were supposed to meet at eight, and it’s still early.” Yunho was fascinated with his hair. He loved to touch it, especially the strands that covered his face.
“Yunho, you dummy, you know I am always early for everything.”
“Well I’m sorry,” Yunho retorted. “Birthday boy…”
Yunho smiled and placed his hands on Jae’s hair, he just wanted to feel Jae.
“Well, where is my birthday present? Give me, Give mee~!”
Jae started to touch Yunho everywhere looking for his present. But Yunho just started to laugh and tried to run away.
“Stop. Before I give you the present I want to tell you something, no wait, actually, I want to do something.” He looked at Jae. He felt so nervous but he had to do it; he had to know what he felt for his best friend.
He carefully approached Jae and started to caress his cheek with his hand; oh how it felt so right. Jae didn’t move away and instead just closed his eyes to feel the touch of his best friend; he didn’t know why but he was shaking. Then, he felt Yunho lips on his; it was just a small brush of his lips against his. He didn’t know what to do, this was his first kiss, and so he decided to just move his lips against Yunho’s. The kiss was candid and sweet. Jae could taste Yunho, he could feel his lips and they were so soft. It lasted less than a minute but when they looked in each other eyes they finally knew what they felt for each other wasn’t friendship….it was love. They just hugged again and stayed that way.
After a while, Yunho spoke first,
“Well Jae, are you sorry that I kissed you?”
The other only shook his head in response.
“I think…I think I’m in love with you Jae. I want to be with you. I want you to be mine.”
“Yunho, I love you too and nothing would make me happier than to be with you. I love you.”
From then on they started to love each other like there was no tomorrow.

Present…
“Honey? Honey, are you ready?” Mrs. Kim entered Jae’s bedroom.
“No mom, I need a few more minutes”. Jae tried to smile to his mother.
“Everyone is waiting for you. Is everything all right? You look sad. Shouldn’t this be the best day of your life?”
He told his mother that he was fine; he was just feeling a little bit nervous.
“Yunho is asking for you. He is so nervous he sent me here. He wants to get married already you know how he is.”
“Oh, by the way, who was that girl that I saw you talking to before the party started?”
Jae’s fists clenched, “Ah, she’s just a classmate. Mom, I think you should go down to the party. Don’t worry, I’ll be there in a few minutes, this is going to be a wedding that no one is going to forget, especially Yunho.”
----
Flashback…
They were lying down by the tree in the garden, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the day. Yunho lay down against the tree leaning himself against it with Jae between his legs and his arms around the lithe waist of his boyfriend.
“I can’t believe we’ve been together for a year already. Everything went by so fast…” Jae softly spoke then turned around and kissed Yunho on the lips.
They looked at each other with so much passion and love. The kiss started soft but Yunho grabbed Jae’s head and pull him even closer to him. They could feel each other’s bodies completely. He shoved his tongue into Jae’s mouth savoring every part of his mouth. He wished he could do something else, he wish he could touch something else. He ran his hands everywhere in Jae’s body. Both started to pant and breathe harder. He couldn’t get enough he wanted to be with Jaejoong so much, it was so frustrating to be with him but not fully yet. Until now they just kissed and nothing else.
He placed his hands inside Jae’s shirt and started to roam all over his body. He wanted to feel his heated skin; he wanted to touch every part of his body. Jae felt uncomfortable and started to retreat. He could feel Yunho’s erection on his body and he liked it, he felt pleasure but still it didn’t feel right.
“Yunho stop…” Jae murmured between kisses. But Yunho didn’t stop, no, more like, he couldn’t stop. His mind was filled with lust and want.
Yunho took the chance to nuzzle Jae’s neck, sucking his skin until a red welt was left behind. Jaejoong could only groan in excitement, his body trembling under Yunho’s advances. Every time he saw Jae, he just wanted to have him right there and then, he wanted to see his body naked and begging for his touch. He continued to explore Jae’s body until he reached for Jae’s jeans and started to unzipped the front, trying to fondle what laid behind. Jae panicked and pushed Yunho away from him roughly.
“I told you no Yunho!” Jaejoong half-panted and half-screamed at Yunho as he zipped his pants back up and glared at Yunho.
“I…I’m sorry Jae. It’s just that it’s difficult to just kiss you and nothing else you know? I love you, but sometimes I want more”.
Jae just sighted and lean over onto Yunho’s shoulder, “I know you want more but I’ve told you before, I’m still not ready. I just need time.”
Jae loved Yunho a lot but he could not take the next step yet. He knew that Yunho was growing restless always wanting to do more things, but he wasn’t prepare to face that part of their relationship, well, at least not yet. He just hoped that Yunho would be patient with him. He didn’t want to loose him because of this. Yunho took his hand and started to kiss it, pulling him closer to embrace his boyfriend.
“I’m sorry that I was forceful it’s just that I love you so much,” He kissed him on the lips once again but this time the kiss was soft and delicate. “I’ll wait. Take your time; I don’t care just as long as you love me because at the end we are going to end up together.”
He smiled as he covered Jae with his body and started to kiss him again. God, he could never get enough from him.
“God, Jae you’re driving me crazy. I love you so much I just want to make you happy…”
They rolled around in the grass kissing and laughing when they heard someone calling their names,
“Yunho? Jaejoong? What’s going on here?”
I hope this chapter is not dissapointing. I guess now everyone knows why Jae is so sad. I want to thank heartoffire03 for being my beta-reader "Thank you so much". My previous chapter has been edited so everyone can understand the story better. Please leave a comment to see if the story is not getting boring or predictable. I still don't know where to go from here.^^
