I love the elongated lines with circles at the ends. I never think to use those but they're always so elegant.
I am frustrated at drawing right now. I keep trying and going "yuck" at what I do. I'm also working on my commission and I am on the third re-painting of the chick in it. : P 4th time's a charm, right? Plus I refuse to give her a commission that doesn't look like her...
Sorry to bitch and moan at you.

I hate when stuff just doesn't come out right. I'm sure you'll get it eventually. 4 is my lucky number, so maybe it will be the charm?
i had hit that frustration point with my drawing before I started the boot camp thing. I think it's helped since I've done a lot of drawings I probably wouldn't have otherwise thought of, but I wonder if it's all just been a distraction. I got to the point where it just seemed like all my ideas were stale and the same. I feel like I need something different, but I'm not sure how to get there.
i hadn't thought of it as a quilting pattern, but i like the idea. maybe not because of the colors, but i could see it as a baltimore style applique quilt.
maybe a happy medium could be found for a silk screen, like make a 2 color print featuring one color plus the detailed lines?
