Multilayered

I finished the next theme, "multilayered" for the Creativity Boot Camp! I spent a much more reasonable amount of time on this one; probably less than one hour. It might not be as stunning as the ants drawing from yesterday, but I like it ok.

It reminds me of a landscape or of rocks and also sort of a quilt my mom once made.

I like how relaxed and eased these seem. They're not trying to be representational or overly neat or uniform. They just are.

I really enjoyed making these for that very reason--they were very easy going. It was more about the process than the end result. Since the theme was about layering, I didn't have to worry about lines or markers crossing; in fact i wanted them to. In my mind, the looser and more free flow the better, so I intentionally worked at a faster pace, less careful pace.
