didn't hear back from the donut house, but I have a feeling even rooms go pretty quickly here. good thing there are a lot of postings. I feel good that I'll be able to find something suitable.

Hey, you seem to have a lot of good options! I suggest asking the rental people if providing the first month of rent up front will help with their concerns. They really should rent to anyone with a co-signer (what if you were a student?), so maybe offering cash up front will sweeten the deal.

thanks; i'll still keep my options open, but for now i'm going to pursue the group housing thing. I think it'll be a good way to have some contact with people, and also it'll buy me some time while I look for a job, get settled.

I figure it'll be easier to get an apt. when I have actual income.
