It takes too long, this packing thing. I mean, it should be simple and fast. I should pack light and efficiently. I've traveled enough. I should either know by now how to do it quickly, or know better than to think that I can do it quickly

haha .. once my sister packed for a two day weekend in new york, and she brought a big brown grocery bag packed with just shoes. we got to the hotel before we could check in, and had to leave our bags behind the desk, and my sister had like, a huge suitcase, a small suitcase, a bookbag, and this grocery bag of shoes.

that list contains about 25 tops!!

I always tend to overpack... even if it's just a beach trip with my family! (I mean, swim suit, shorts and a few t-shirts should cover that, right? Ah, but there are so many possibilies of what could happen, but never do. ha)
