You know, I saw "Yuki Kajiura" and honestly went "Okay, who's this Japanese guy that I most probably have never heard of?" Then I looked through his IMDB profile: "Okay, okay... show I never watched... more stuff I've never watched. Show I probably won't watch... ehhhhh... wait.... OH FUCK .HACK??? Thank god I'm going to bed, that way I won't need to get new pants right now." :P Seriously, most of the time with me, I see a Japanese guest for a con and it's some VA or musical guest that I've never heard of because I don't listen to J-music or pay attention to voices when I'm watching subbed material (in my head, the voices are usually less important than the setting, the movement, and the words themselves.) For ME to say that I recognize someone's work is a shock. :P ( ... )
