Granite counters have always been ugly but stainless is the shit.

And the Stones still suck.

"Granite counters have always been ugly but stainless is the shit."

Truth. What's ugly and played out are the shitty appliance brands that slap stainless on the outside and charge a premium for it. The high-quality brands that have always come in stainless like Wolf, Gaggenau, DCS, etc. (because it's the optimal material for constructing most cooking appliances), are awesome.

Yeah, all that faux-stainless cracks me up. "No fingerprints...because it's not really stainless!"

Okay, I can agree with that.

I'm just really effin' sick of all the idiots on HGTV who go on and on about how they NEED granite counters (and they're always really ugly, gaudy ones) and stainless steel appliances (so much so that on the really tacky shows they actually GLUE fake stainless to regular appliances, as if that fools anyone). But yeah, if you're talking a real commercial-grade kickass range, that is good.

MORE THAN. However, I might wonder why this person did not know exactly how many people he or she was supervising but I think I would be weird for doing that.

Oh, and it's good that you've come to realise the awesomeness of hockey.

Heh. I have no idea what's going on and I've only watched like two games. My favorite part is when they smoosh each other against the glass (boards, right?), and I do know that's called "checking" but I really like to say smoosh when I can.

Heh. The best thing in the world, though, is a big, open-ice hip check. You don't see a big one too often, but they are hot. Heh.

The main rule thing that you might not be able to figure out just from watching (I mean, obviously the objective is to get the puck in the net) is being "offside." Basically, the puck needs to enter the offensive zone prior to any of the offensive players. And, if the puck leaves the zone (indicated by the blue line) when they're already onside, the offensive players need to exit the zone and re-enter, again, with the puck ahead of them. If the play goes offside, play stops and the faceoff is then in the neutral zone.

Icing you can figure out pretty quickly. It's basically a too-long pass (from below the red line). If icing is called, the faceoff is in the defending zone of the team who iced the puck.

Wikipedia is probably a good place to start to just get an idea of what's what. I think the NHL website also has all the rules online.

Hay can I come over and smoke a fatty? I don't care for baseball, but I'm sure there are plenty of ways we can discuss fixing stuff.

Yes please. We could have meaningful discussions about the law.

I am so close to adopting a dog in my no pets allowed apt it is ridiculous. Fur would make it all better. Fur and cold noses and wet sloppy tongues. hee.

I too am ridiculous sports freak.

Hmmm disagree on stainless steel appliances but agree on granite counters. lol And I do think ss appliances kind of ugly but better than white by a mile and better than black by a bit IMO

I need to find time to work out. seems like all i do is work and sleep. working 2 jobs these days. it sucks. not even sure the $$ is worth the lack of time i have for ANYTHING BUT WORKING. ugh.

PS I picked Beatles over Stones but in reality I have no strong opinion about either. Picked beatles solely on fact that i could recall more of their tunes than the stones. Never seek out either willingly. lol
