René Pollesch is a 1962-born writer, or playwright, and director of his own work. He's extremely productive, just keeps churning them out (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ren%C3%A9_Pollesch#Werke). He's done loads at ours, just started another production this week. I love his work, it's very theoretical in its approach and very funny in practice. In this interview he talks about his recent premiere in Vienna which has the contemporary conception of romantic love as one of its objects, and he gives his views on it. I like and agree with a lot of what he has to say. I could translate it at some point. But I don't want to take away the incentive for you to learn German.

Or not.
Either, in fact.
Whichever you think is appropriate.
