My sister has a big house with an extra bedroom that has an attached bathroom. Mom has been moved in there.

I’m sorry your mother fell. It’s not easy for kids to watch their parents aging and health deteriorating. They’re MOM and DAD and used to be strong and eternal. Or so we thought as children and didn’t know any better.

I am getting close to 60 myself so I know in my head that mom is old. But it is still hard to see.

Sorry to hear about your Mom, I'm glad she's being cared for so well by your sister - it's so difficult when you are the main income provider for the family - I'm sure everyone realises that.
