This account has been a paid account since its creation (Dec 2004).

Today it has become a basic account, and therefore "Friends of Friends" feed is no longer available: https://anhinga-anhinga.livejournal.com/friendsfriends

I'll keep it this way for the time being; hopefully, there will be reasons to revisit this decision in the future.

The main AI events of the year so far:

* GPT-4 revolution: February Bing Chat; Mar 14 GPT-4 release (the Third Deep Learning Revolution, after AlexNet (2012) and GPT-3 (2020))

* Nov 6: OpenAI DevDay: a major upgrade, but not a revolution (no working GPT-4 fine-tuning)

* Nov 17-Nov 22 Unsuccessful coup attempt at OpenAI aimed at drastically slowing it down (Sam Altman fired, then resurrected as the CEO)
