Bubbles is my roommate. She's originally from the Philippines and has never taken a course in American History. She moved here when she was 22, and has been in the states for 9 years. She wants to visit Washington D.C., and I recommended reading an overview of our history first, so she could understand the historical significance of the monuments and enjoy the museums a bit more. She said she knew enough about American History, so I asked her to explain our history to me.
