If you are looking for knee high boots, I recommend the brand Ros Hommerson. They make their boots in three calf widths: normal, wide and extra wide. They're leather and so you pay that premium, but I think they are worth it...plus, you can always get them on sale! :) I got some on Amazon this month for only $70 and they're BEAUTIFUL.

yeah, same here re: jobs. but then, I have not gotten a SINGLE call. at all. since I started looking.

Ugh! It's been over 3 weeks for me too, and the one I did get an interview with, was lame and never called me back after the interview. Ugh!!!

LOL! Honestly, right now, I will take just about anything. My preference is administrative type work, since there is no mortgage industry right now to speak of (I was a sub-prime mortgage underwriter until the crash).

WTF Lane Bryant indeed! I have a similar problem with them. I'm about ready to go back to wearing men's clothes all the time and cast aside this (tiny little)femme leaf I turned over!

LOL!!!! Well Avenue and Fashion Bug still have cute things, and are a whole helluva lot cheaper!!!

I was really annoyed at driving all the way there (like 30 minute drive) and everything was either really ugly, or too expensive for what it is.

I don't mind paying high dollar for GOOD stuff, but a t shirt for almost $50?? COME ON!!!!

LOL! I love Avenue. They USED to be horrible. Only old lady fare, but in the last year or so they have REALLY turned around and have super cute clothes for MUCH less than Lane Bryant.
