So instead of going to work today, I decided to visit the USC campus. And what visit to USC would be complete without a Root Canal? No, seriously. No pain yet. Local anesthetic is fading, though. I figure this may be my last chance to write coherently for a while. :P I still need to go back in to get the procedure finished, probably in January

I figured given the cryptic gchat message that you would have gone to LJ when I wasn't there. ;)

Student dentists are a good thing. In dentistry, according to Lily, the technology advances so quickly that what you want is someone as close to fresh out of dental school as possible, so they're up on the latest science and practices. Certainly has been my experience that younger dentists have been better than even older family ones.

Hmmm... USF does have a medical school. I'll have to keep that in mind for future medical needs. Thanks for the idea.
