They are two Elves from The Silmarillion, Fingon son of Fingolfin and Finrod son of Finarfin. (They're cousins.) These are absolutely stunning drawings of them; they manage to capture, at least somewhat, both the beauty and the nobility and something of the sorrow of the Noldor in Middle Earth.

Oh honey, so very, very few of us could ever manage this. Don't ever feel you can't draw because you can't produce this. That's like being upset you can't write a symphony. (Hell, I can't even manage stick figures. So.)
Ooh. I don't like broad lips like that, but personal fetishes aside, that's absolutely stunning.
I wish I could draw like that, because I have had one picture stuck in my head ever since reading the Silm and I despair of ever getting rid of it. Simply because it's been there for FOUR YEARS. And also, sea fetish.
