I don't understand everyone's affinity towards pointy-eared Elvish princelings. Even the most beautiful and brilliant of Elven princesses have gone for scruffy, unwashed lords of Men. Beren, Tuor, Turin (although he never took Finduilas up on her affections), Aragorn.....me. ;)

You are indeed correct in pointing that out. So you can be excused the interest in pointy eared Elvish princelings, but as for everyone else, no such excuse! Unless they all want to be Dwarves. :)
