Firstly, disclaimer: this is not a mocking or wank-emulating post. Let me say from the outset (if you're not already familiar with my LJ) that when I say 'I love this stuff', I'm not being sarcastic - I really do love the out-there shit that fandom does. I absolutely adore it. I can't express how much glee and joy it gives me, unless that ( Read more... )

hey, these aren't my versions!! these are summarised plots of stories I've already read :D

but what was that I was saying about collective consciousness in the SPN fandom? I was thinking along those lines before I read #6, too :D

#6 is one of those things which is not 'massively' AU, so much as, could very nearly have happened to to poor wee-Winchesters if Papa hadn't made it home from hunting one day. :(

And everybody anybody who googled up incest, and came across 'weimarck effect', and 'GSA' probably leapt to the conclusion that - oooooooh. So that'd definitely make them hot for each other.

Or uh, at least I did...

I love crazy crack scenarios. Thinking about them, reading them when done well, whatever. I think that a good writer can make anything work, or at the very least make anything entertaining. In fact, it's a fun thing to think about, taking a crazy idea just to prove that it can be done right.

But, well, #7. It's only a matter of time before #7 is CANON, so why that's on your CRACK list I just don't understand. *huffY*

Well, you'll have to forgive me for not making myself clear enough: this post is also a celebration of how easy it is to write crack in the SPN fandom because crack is pretty much canonical.

also, thanks for getting your icon there stuck in my head this morning. really. ;P

You're welcome. That's Barb's fault, actually, because that particular quotation was from her yakfucking masterpiece, not mine. *g*

#1 Three First Times - http://anne-higgins.livejournal.com/4099.html

#2 Seeds of Vengeance - http://isolde13.livejournal.com/121704.html

I love that there aren't really so many 'rentboy AU's' as such, because it's generally... a little too plausible to be 'AU'.

(LOVES IT TOO)

yeah, when I was compiling my recs list it was really hard to decide which ones went into the 'crack and AU' section! it's nuts. HEART.

I never knew my addiction to crack was so pervasive until I realized that I've read (and enjoyed) all of these.

Besides, yaks and demon seed. What's not to like?
