Reminds me of a line from Interview With the Vampire.

Louis has just told Claudia what she is, that she won't ever die or grow old, and she says she knows it means something else. "I shall never, ever grow up."

I feel like her. I still feel, in my head, like that 23 year old who left home for college and just...never really grew up.
