Sometimes I think that being a fan of ANYTHING is worse on Tumblr. I'm dealing with a whole pile of female character hate in my main fandom right now that I'm sure I wouldn't have to put up with if I was still just here on LJ. Argh.

That's the thing, you know? You tend to be surrounded by like-minded folks on LJ. There's less encountering hostile opinions. Surfing through the community tags is like navigating a minefield.
