They're not helping themselves by trying to steal some of the fall viewers. It used to be a summer series, and then they've got to break it up, but they lose viewers that way, because now everyone has their fall schedule already set. I get so annoyed with these people sometimes.

I hate it when shows do that. The most recent series of Doctor Who was split in two (for good reasons) but it meant I'd totally lost the habit of clearing my Saturday schedule for it.
I'm blaming it on a combination of their determination to do the whole November season, even though it routinely fails and does horribly, and the endless spin cycle of the storyline.
Yeah, I hadn't even thought about the fall season factor. I agree. They should've stuck to why their shows were successful in the first place in terms of schedule placement. I hate the season splitting. It kills the momentum. Just when I'm really getting into it, it's hiatus time. They take a long time to announce when the show is even coming back. Breaking it up doesn't make me anticipate it more. It only frustrates me and makes me less inclined to stick with it. Entertainment shouldn't be this difficult and irritating.
I pretty much have very little inclination to resume this half of the season when I had to compel myself to finish the first half once I realize that they were dropping the PTSD storyline. I shouldn't have to force myself to watch the show. >.<
