I have extended health coverage from work, which is honestly pretty shitty, but it's saved me a bit in vision and dental, which the government health plan doesn't cover. So it's all well and good. The claim process was surprisingly easy and fast

You know, I can ALMOST live with fine print bullshit, even though that is in itself a supreme dick move. But when it's INVISIBLE print? Oh, this fact isn't known ANYWHERE, you only know about it WHEN YOU GET SCREWED!!! I mean, seriously? SERIOUSLY?

Is there any possible way your chiro's office would be awesome enough to refund your bill and then let you re-pay it with a debit or credit card so you can get a receipt that the dickwads at your insurance company will accept?

ARGH. RAGE. Barring that, is there any way you can climb up the ladder and get through to a supervisor to argue your point?

That's what I'm hoping, that the chiro office will be willing to do that for me, but I really don't know. Not to mention they only accept cheque or cash, so after that (if it happens), I have to go get a copy of a returned cheque from my bank, which will cost me time and money.

I bitched to the rep who's the go-between between us and insurance, and I was like, tell me if there's somebody else I ought to bitch directly to, but it's like... I am fundamentally opposed to the concept of being a raging bitch to get what I want, except this is what they're forcing me to do. Not to mention, this is insurance. Probably will have an easier time getting blood from a stone.
