There's this quote I always comfort myself with when I'm being lazy and devouring fanfic or whatever. It was Bertrand Russell and he was all, look folks, "time you enjoyed wasting? Not really wasted." Enjoying shit is totally a worthwhile activity.

Of course, Bertie was the sort of person who seems to have enjoyed passing his time by writing a brilliant math treatise, so... ;)
