Most people whom I asked for commentary answer REALLY FUCKING FAST. IDK how you guys do it. Maybe I have way too much to say or type too slow or something.

This one is for aurora_84, who asked for a snip from Nascent.

That was a fascinating journey into your head! I really enjoyed reading it! Am smiling now, full of love for our boys. :D

I used to tear off the corners of the books I was reading and eat them.

Haha, wow, that is weird...

Hee, I'm glad that was interesting. Thanks for reading!

I think I might have had a fiber deficiency or something. IDK.

I heart you and your lit love. This was fascinating to read.

Of where script ends and "real life" begins. When does acting stop for actors?
I noticed that! It's an interesting concept which I hadn't given much thought before ('The Business of Lies' made me go 'oh...oh!') and I love how you explore it. :x

They went BOWLING together. With other people, who are all COUPLES. I mean, jeez.
I WILL NEVER GET OVER THAT.

u c wot i did thar???? :D
♥♥♥

Now, this was back when "a passage that sings" was still fresh and hot and PERFECT and the way that author referenced works? You can tell that it wasn't namedropping.
Gaaaaah, that story. I still have hope that she'll follow it up. Someday. :(

When I was a lot younger, and less careful with my books, I used to tear off the corners of the books I was reading and eat them.
Dude, you must really love books.

Thank you so much for this!

For some reason, I find the fact that you used to eat books unbelievably cute. The books are a part of you now! LOL XD

Love how you agonised over book choices. I don't put near as much thought when I put book references in my fics. But I kind of imagine Chris would read anything once as long as it's decently well-written, and Zach... I feel like Zach actually just reads the dictionary, haha.

Yeah, I don't see Chris rereading Wharton over and over. But I'm biased there, as I wasn't that fond of the only Wharton I read (Ethan Frome).

I just had a sudden desire for fic where Chris secretly loves Pride and Prejudice and is embarrassed about it, and then Zach finds out. XDDD

Haha, I can see why you'd put Zombie Survival Guide next to Woolf. Because you'd sort novels by author, but clearly the Guide is a reference book, so should be indexed by title. I am so resorting my bookshelf like this when I go home.

Hahah, cute is better than weird. Or gross. :D

I agonize over the most inane things when I'm writing. -_- It comes from being a perfectionist, but it's not the productive kind of perfectionism. More like OCD than anything else. *facepalm*

I'm not that fond of Wharton either, but I have a bizarre obsession with The Age of Innocence, though either way, her work isn't exactly comfort stories imo.

OMGGGGG THAT WOULD RULE. And Chris has an epic crush on Colin Firth Darcy and Zach teases him MERCILESSLY. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR RESOLVING THAT FOR ME. Now I feel MUCH better.

I don't think so either, although a few years earlier my comfort books were horribly depressing and always made me cry. So, haha, I guess I shouldn't really be commenting on this. I should check out The Age of Innocence though. I haven't read a book in so long, it makes me so sad.

OMGGGGGGG I didn't even think of the movie!! Gah. Now I'm so tempted to post this to rpf_kink, because there's no way I'm writing this one myself.

My comfort books are either about zombies or serial killers, so. :D

I have this weird obsession with The Age of Innocence. I don't even LIKE the book, tbh, but something about it sticks with me. I haven't read a real book in a long time either. Fic is just so much more satisfying. And really, fuck the people who think published books are automatically better than fanfic. The quality is just as much of a crapshoot.

Is rpf_kink still active?
