I am so so SO behind on fandom. Cries. And by fandom, I mean mostly Leverage. Damn, people are prolific. Obviously, Nate/Eliot is my love, but I'm still at a point where I'm willing to give just about anything a shot, which can prove problematic when you've fallen as massively behind as I have. I can't believe the fandom has blown up as much as it

But it actually is pretty enjoyable! I like it enough that I will be sad when it won't get renewed for a third season.

I want to write preseries, when Nate is running around the world chasing everyone. So there'd be different sections (not sure how many yet) that focus on the byplay between Nate and all the members of the team. I think it'd be the most fun ever to dig into everything - like, why Nate was automatically like, "OMG, Parker? She's insane!", etc. And Sophie - of course, Sophie.
But yeah, I'm in the same boat as you right now; I have no desire to write anything in canon-present, since canon-present is so spot-on and wonderful. Pre-series is the next logical step. So. Interested? Just an idea. :)

With that said, it's really awesome for you to ask me to collab with you, but I have to be honest and tell you that I'm the worst person to collab with. :( Experience has taught me that I'm just not built for that kind of thing, and I should refrain from doing it with people whose good opinion I wanna keep. Heh.
You know, just 'cause you prompted it doesn't mean you can't write it. You totally should.

I'm almost in the same boat as you. I can do prompts and deadlines (though often they don't come together in my head until, you know, 24 hours before the deadline *g*), but I hate writing FOR someone. Someone who may hate what you've done with a bloody passion because you totally screwed up their idea. Eep! (That said, I've actually filled out a form, but I haven't posted it yet. I'm hedging my bets here. *g*)
T:TSCC is awesome! I wasn't originally going to watch it, but then I saw the one preview where Sarah's like, How was school? and John's like, well, no one tried to kill me, and she didn't kill anyone, so I'd call it a win, and I was like, hmm, maybe I will give the premiere a shot. And I was hooked. Second season isn't killing me with glee the way the first season did, though. But yes, Derek. Humina!
His presence is everywhere. His ghost haunts the present, except he doesn't really exist yet. He is talked about often, but never seen. ( ... )

I've mentally filled out the form. Whether I actually will, I still haven't decided.
TSCC is indeed awesome. More awesome than I expected, but I have to admit that I had really low expectations. I love the first Terminator movie to bits, it's near and dear to my heart, so there's a certain sacred don't touch quality to the franchise. But while most purists hated T3, I rather enjoyed it because my mindset was that it was AU (and I have a soft spot for Nick Stahl). I treated the series like an AU, too, and voila, enjoyment!

Yeah, same here. I feel like it waffles with some unnecessary subplots whereas the first season was much tighter, but I'm always an advocate for the 12-ep season.
While I'd seen the movies, I ( ... )
