Oh man, I knew it was too good to be true. Mag7 fandom, even since I dipped my toes back in, has been so incredibly civil and intelligent. WANK HAS FINALLY OCCURRED. And it's the same damn thing I saw 10 years ago. Ezra fangirls versus the world.

Well, it's incredibly civil and polite by panfandom wank standards, but by M7 fandom standards, that was an imbroglio.

Basically, Ezra fangirls tend to dominate the fandom, because they're usually the most vocal and enthusiastic ones. Which lead to fans who aren't Ezra-focused to feel like the fandom caters to Ezra and Ezra only. Also, Ezra apologists are pretty crazy. Stuff like, "oh, Ezra isn't REALLY racist." Which is, yeah.
