Is it weird that I'm thinking of adapting this (Old Entry) into my college essay? I have no clue how. But it was just an idea.

It's not weird at all. I think if you edited it a bit for length, it would make a solid essay just as is.

Once you have a draft I'd be willing to edit for you, if you want.

I might have to take you up on editing. I would offer to edit yours, but I'm pretty sure it's due tomorrow or something, so I don't think I'd be of much use.
