Damon knocks on Bonnie’s door and then patiently waits for her to answer it. After going through the whole ‘who is it’ part, she opens the door and sighs. She knows he knows. Damon squints at her and puts his hands on the door frame. “So, when were you going to tell me you were grounded?”

Bonnie opens her mouth but no word gets out.

Too funny Bonnie getting busted for using a spell to pass a test. I loved that Bonnie kept her resolve with the whole being grounded and that she wants to prove to her Dad that she still respects his authority. The back and forth was so good!

Yet another of the best Bamon pieces I've ever read. The first part was wonderfully hilarious with the banter, the wit, Damon's frustrates control issues, the alternate mundanity of witchy daddies grounding their witchy daughters for casting the wrong spell, the challenging each other of two opposite but equally fierce tempers. I adored Bonnie's embarassed rant and Damon's hard striving to follow it despite his obvious Attention Deficit Disorder

This made me laugh.

and of course that Bonnie would have an issue with repeating the Caroline/Damon fiasco nor would ever accept a relationship where she has no decision power. Damon, in turn, took an isssue on her demands because he is used to be utterly in control.

Yes to both of these. I think Bonnie would feel a little unsure about Damon biting her. Too much memories of Caroline. He'd have to reassure her and not overdo it. As for Damon, he is definitely used to being in control and getting his way. Especially with women who aren't powerful vampires like Katherine. So basically every woman. Lol. Bonnie will show him otherwise.

It's amazing how stubborn Damon and Bonnie can be. Good job in portraying how they are both stuck in their own ways, and neither wants to give up control to the other.

This fic is so amazing. I love this fic is everything I wanted and more.The banter is hilarious and magnificent. Damon is so used to being in control that it frustrates him to no end that the witch is fighting him for control and he seems to be losing it. I'm so glad that Bonnie stood her ground and did not let him have full control of their relationship. Both of them are very stubborn and have strong personalities so them being in a relationship they are bound to clash more than once. Love them fighting for control, is very sexy. Love angry and frustrated Damon is very funny and sexy. I like that you made Bonnie want to have a healthy relationship with her father.

I'm so glad to hear that! Yes, with their strong personalities and both not wanting to be controlled, and wanting to exert their control, there will be plenty of fights and disagreements. But I think their fights will more often than not have a hint of flirting to it.

One Damon/Bonnie fan said they invented hostile flirting, and I agree!
