I'm trying to get to public computers of one sort or another at least every 2-3 days now, so eventually I might catch up on things. Who knows. Back to my October reading list! (I know, I know, I go away for a year and when I come back, I decide to write really boring entries. In my defense I am trying to rebuild my old life and it was pretty dull! ( Read more... )

I'm down with the book reviews, particularly since I haven't read anything you have thus far blogged about so it's nice to get some recs (though that makes it hard for me to respond and have a conversation, true XD;).

I've got loads more where those came from! Sadly I find little else to do with my free time nowadays (well, I mean, I look for jobs and feel miserable about things and sometimes knit as I have taken it up off and on, but in terms of things I might write about without entirely boring other people, reading's pretty much all I do. Although I did play Beatles Rock Band at my friend's place Sunday and must recommend it to anyone who likes the Beatles and singing. It supports up to 3-part harmony! :o!!)

War of the Flowers was great. I find that I tend to end up reading books in series (the story must go on!!!), so I was pleasantly surprised to find I enjoyed this one.

well, but if you think about it, just one Tad Williams novel is the same as someone else's trilogy anyhow, so it's LIKE reading a series, eh? :D
