Sorry, um, the holes should be easy to fix, a little spackle, a lick of paint, nobody is the wiser. Locate the studs and rehang the shelf.
The same thing happened while I was in the shower once.

can't, the shelf is from Ikea so it has pre-drilled holes for mounting and they don't meet up with the positioning of the studs. one anchor survived, the one that was in the stud. hence the crash. and please, no more solutions! my boyfriend does the same thing! :p
