When ordering on the cheap at any coffeeshop, I need to start saying things that do not include the phrase "dark coffee". As I age, I'm becoming (to quote an LJ friend of mine) more secure in my masculinity. Anyway, it's possible that "dark coffee" is not the only tasty flavour/colour/strength in the world.

Me, I'm partial to a good cafe au lait. :) But then, my stomach objects to straight-up coffee.

Right, well, me too. Hence the 'on the cheap' comment. Usually I have to dump out a bit of the coffee to fit in a bunch of milk, too.
