I get a lot of this sort of thing. Usually 2-3 a week, more when a blog entry does the rounds. I usually refer them to my advertising rates web page (the FAQ entitled "why this blog does not take advertising") or simply tell them to fuck off.
Maybe I should actively ask them for submissions? Then reject and demand re-writes?

In fact, I should ask for submissions of at least 2000 words on the Hermeneutics of Joanna Russ's fiction or the feminist writings of Suzy McKee Charnas, then systematically mark them down for grammatical and spelling errors and demand multiple resubmissions before finally telling them their content has been accepted for publication in our March 2017 issue.
