rdeck would probably be grateful for the information, re. the conversion program. He's pretty mopey about losing his Pagemaker, particularly because of the files involved. So any help would be appreciated!
Timex Sinclair to Eagle 2600 (which I believe cost the same as a car) to 8088 to 486-- to a progression of laptops and desktops most of which are still taking up space in the house. There's a laptop just behind me I'm only keeping for the purpose of saving ONE file-- I just know that when I finally get around to extricating it (I couldn't find the power cord for awhile) that the actual writing in said file isn't going to be as good as I remember.
If you still have the ZIP disks, you'll probably have a friend with a corresponding drive. (I own one, but the logistics are a bit difficult.)
Also, see if you can back up your version of agent and transfer it - there's a slim chance it will work.
Also, while Agent is still running, see if you can export the contents - I have no idea about its file storage, but if you're really lucky, it will involve plain text - export while you still can.
