With thanks to fuunsaiki and speak_me_fair for the tip:

Ben Whishaw will play King Richard II with Rory Kinnear as his challenger, Bolingbroke. John of Gaunt will be played by Patrick Stewart, with David Suchet as The Duke of York and David Morrissey as Northumberland. Tom Hughes will play Aumerle and Mowbray will be played by James Purefoy. Morrissey Northumberland was a bit of a surprise. Now we need an awesome Hotspur! I don't imagine they'll be cross-casting from R2 to H4 to H5, 'cos I know I wouldn't be able to buy Rory Kinnear as Tom Hiddleston's father, but we still need awesome Hotspurrage! And filming starts so soon! :D

I have no information one way or the other, but I can't imagine them casting a Hal who didn't go on to play Henry V -- it's so, so common to read these plays as The Story of Hal that it would be weird and shocking if they didn't, more so than if they switched Henry IVs between plays as I imagine they will because Rory Kinnear is only 32, because nobody cares about his character arc.*

He isn't confirmed, and I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't. His agents have not updated their site so we're not going to find out one way or the other for a bit. *curses*
