Your subject line reminds me that we had a poetry evening at my church student group last night, and someone read "King John was Not a Good Man". The group was divided into those who were happily mouthing along and the people who'd missed it in childhood and thought we'd all gone mad (Including the person who, at the end, asked 'is there some historical incident that's referring to that I've missed').
