I highly, highly recommend, nay, insist that you all go listen to The Duchess of Malfi on the Radio 3 website while you still can (you have until next weekend). Because IT IS AWESOME. 'Twas indeed excellent, although I wish they hadn't cut the "Hark, now everything is still" song and most of Julia's and Castruccio's parts. Ah well.

(I also wish it were still going to be available when my Brit Lit class takes on The Duchess next week, but I'm beginning to suspect nothing can save that class anyway.)

Slinger's performance is the EPITOME of dirtybadwronghot. There is a picture of it next to "dirtybadwronghot" in the dictionary, or there would be if you could photograph an audio performance and "dirtybadwronghot" were in the dictionary.
