I posted about the Wandering Jew's Chronicle a few weeks ago! I love the Pepys ballads, too; I know there are plenty of kings in there because the broadside ballads tend to be more topical than the Child ballads are. :)

It is quite possible that it was before we met.

I haven't done it in a while, but I actually post about historical ballads fairly often.
